Former NFL football player Jerramy Stevens and Olympic soccer star Hope Solo’s bizarre Tuesday began in court but ended with them reportedly getting married.
The wedding was reported by multiple sources, including Dave Mahler, a sport-talk radio host on KJR, and KING-5 News.
Jillian Loyden, a backup goalkeeper to Solo on the U.S. National women’s soccer team, apparently attended the wedding. A Twitter post attributed to Loyden said: “Happy to witness such an amazing celebration of real love.”
The ceremony and reception came only a few hours after Stevens, who turned 33 on Tuesday, and Solo, 31, appeared in Kirkland Municipal Court after the former football star allegedly assaulted his fiancee early Monday. A stun gun was reportedly used to break up the altercation.
