BOULDER, Colo. — The Washington women’s basketball team would have had an excuse if it had a letdown after its biggest victory in many years on Sunday.

Instead, the Huskies followed up their home victory over No. 2 Stanford with an 87-80 win Friday night at Colorado.

The Huskies trailed 40-39 at halftime, but went on a 10-3 run to begin the half and never trailed again. After taking a 49-43 lead, Washington never led by less than three points or by more than nine.

Freshman Kelsey Plum scored 25 to lead Washington (14-10, 7-6 Pac-12) and Jazmine Davis added 24 in a game that had 52 fouls and four players foul out.
