Washington continued its dominance at the Kikkor Husky Invitational, winning by 18 strokes, and Cheng Tsung-Pan repeated as medalist at the Gold Mountain Golf Club in Bremerton.

Pan finished 11-under 205 to win by six strokes.

The Huskies completed a round of 6-under 288 for a three-round total of 17-under 847, 18 shots ahead of Arizona State (865).

It was the third straight season that the Huskies won their home tournament.

Michael Anderson of Washington State tied for second with Joe Parkinson of Brigham Young at 5-under 211.

Huskies Corey Pereira and Trevor Simsby tied for fourth at 4-under 212.

Washington State was 11th at 16-over 880 and Gonzaga was 12th at 892.


• Host Cal State Northridge earned a 3-0 victory (25-23, 25-18, 25-18) over Seattle University in a nonconference volleyball match.

Alec Goodrie led the Redhawks with seven kills on 11 attempts for a .636 hitting percentage and three block assists, while Allison Farley also had seven kills.

“We were able to string some points together tonight, played better offense, and had a better block, but in the end we were too inconsistent,” Seattle U coach James Finley said.
