What happened: The Huskies held one practice in the afternoon.
Locker getting closer? QB Jake Locker was still on the sideline for UW’s practice, but as the media’s availability ended, he was doing some pretty serious running drills, testing the left hamstring strain he suffered last Thursday.
Locker spent a few minutes stopping and starting, backpedaling and then changing direction, under the guidance of a trainer. He appeared to be going about two-thirds speed or so. He then did some 40-yard sprints, again probably going about two-thirds speed.
With UW in the midst of two-a-days, Thursday marked the ninth practice Locker has missed of 29 UW will hold before the Oregon game.
