SASKATOON, Saskatchewan — What, me tired? The Seattle Thunderbirds, playing their fourth game in five nights, throttled the Saskatoon Blades 5-1 at Credit Union Place last night.

The T-birds (22-8-0-1), leading the Western Hockey League’s U.S. Division, got two second-period goals from Tyler Metcalfe and 21 saves from Bryan Bridges to easily handle the East Division-leading Blades (18-8-5-2).

The T-birds, 3-1-0-1 on this trip, complete their six-game swing tomorrow night in Prince Albert.
