AUBURN — Sophomore center Aaron Casad hit a layup with one second left as Auburn dealt Kentridge its first loss last night, 44-42.


Senior forward Brok Pendleton scored 16 points for the Trojans (3-1, 2-0) and Noble’D Shelton had 10.


Renado Parker scored 17 points to pace the Chargers (2-1, 1-1). Corey McClain chipped in 10 points.


Auburn led 24-18 at halftime but saw Kentridge come back to tie the game.
