• Seattle U. will play three nonconference games against “BCS” teams, for lack of a better way to describe them — at Virginia on Nov. 17, at Stanford on Nov. 28 and then the big one at home against Washington on Dec. 13 at KeyArena.

• The Redhawks, who have been road warriors the past few years trying to cobble together a schedule as an Independent, will play seven home nonconference games (eight, including a game at the ShoWare Center in Kent against Cal State Bakersfield) and then nine more in WAC play.

• Seattle U. will play its first WAC game at KeyArena against Idaho on Dec. 29.
