Seahawks players including Bobby Wagner and Richard Sherman made the media rounds this week ahead of Super Bowl 50.
While they won’t be competing on the field, Seahawks stars Richard Sherman and Bobby Wagner were in Santa Clara making the media rounds this week ahead of Super Bowl 50. Both players put their trivia skills to the test in a video challenge put on by SB Nation, and clearly sponsored by the sports drink BodyArmor.
The players were asked a random batch of questions, ranging from the names of “Full House” characters to the sound Peyton Manning makes when he gets up off the couch. While the contest itself was silly, it’s clear neither player takes a challenge lightly, but in the end, the Stanford grad took the trivia crown.
A day earlier, Sherman also sat down with Colin Cowherd on his national radio show “The Herd.”
Sherman reflected on the criticism he faced for his rant directly after his famous tip against the 49ers in the 2014 NFC championship game.
“People sometimes take this game more seriously than their own lives,” Sherman said, reflecting on the criticism he faced for his rant. “This is a game. 6 and 7-year-olds play this same game on a field the same size.”
