St. Louis Rams

The Rams needed help in the secondary, and they got it with FS/CB Lamarcus Joyner. The Rams’ front seven is as good as any in the NFC West, but their secondary has been their Achilles heel. Tre Mason was one of college football’s most productive running backs and gives QB Sam Bradford another weapon.

Arizona Cardinals

No one is questioning Arizona’s defense, which was one of the best in the league last year. But the Cardinals’ offense was erratic and probably cost them a shot at the playoffs. Niklas is a ready-to-play tight end for QB Carson Palmer, and Brown is a small but speedy big-play threat.

San Francisco 49ers

Many considered Hyde the best running back in the draft, and he could team with Marcus Lattimer to step in for aging Frank Gore. Otherwise, the 49ers targeted two linemen to bolster their front. Martin should come in and compete for the starting center job.
