Bob Condotta: Russell Wilson looks like he’s ready to settle the debate over whether he’s really an elite quarterback. He could hardly have been better, completing 13 of 17 passes for 174 yards and two touchdowns in the first half, a passer rating of 147.7 (a perfect score is 158.3). He also had 23 yards rushing and a touchdown — his third rushing touchdown of the exhibition season.
Jayson Jenks: Percy Harvin showed why he is so dangerous on the Seahawks’ first drive of the game. He returned the opening kickoff from 7 yards deep for a 46-yard return, then used his speed to burn the defensive back covering him for a 25-yard gain on the drive. His speed opens up so many opportunities.
Jerry Brewer: Pete Carroll wasn’t just being Mr. Happy when he raved about Marshawn Lynch being in excellent condition. Beast Mode got his first carries of the exhibition season Friday night, and he needed to touch the ball only three times in the first series to show that, despite skipping voluntary offseason work and the first few days of training camp over displeasure with his contract, he’s ready to carry the load once again. He played physical, looked swift and finished his night with a 7-yard touchdown run.
