Center Chris Spencer returned to practice on Wednesday after missing four days because of a twisted ankle suffered Friday. “I’m lucky and blessed to be able to get out here so fast,” Spencer said. The injury was serious enough for Spencer to be carted off the field, and it appeared another tough twist for a player who was recovering from shoulder surgery in 2007 and played through a back injury for most of last season until it worsened to the point he went on injured reserve.

Lofa Tatupu returned to practice on Wednesday after sitting out Sunday and Tuesday with general soreness. Tatupu returns as rookie Aaron Curry has moved to the first-string defense, giving the Seahawks a formidable — and expensive — trio with Tatupu, Curry and Leroy Hill.

I think I got style, so I’m going to be just fine.”

Seattle’s players will be off Sunday. “This is like camp grind ‘em out here,” Houshmandzadeh said. “It will be fun to go against somebody else after going against each other for two weeks.”
