4 Smokin Badge J Gutierrez 2 123
1 Get Well J Whitaker 6 123
2 Pickled Again J Matias 4 123
6 Icwhatyourlookinat M Hardison 15 118

Have’n a Wild Time has won in her past two tries at this distance. Sea Side Story might be leading early in a rather pace-less race. Smoking Badge has been in good form at Turf Paradise in Phoenix and the leading rider, Juan Gutierrez, is aboard.

2 6 furlongs, purse $14,375, 3-year-olds and up, fillies and mares, claiming $25,000/$22,500

4 Agoodlawyer Willdo J Gutierrez 9/2 117

3 Daitanna J Matias 7/2 117
2 Muchas Coronas D Lopez 2 123
5 Ronda Rocks I Enriquez 3 123

Agoodlawyer Willdo has the meet’s leading trainer (Chris Stenslie) and jockey (Gutierrez) in her corner, and she should improve in her second start of the year after breaking poorly a couple of weeks ago. Sweet Sara Brown beat the top pick in her last race, finishing third as the 6-5 favorite. Daitana also has a decent chance in an even race.

3 5 ½ furlongs, purse $5,350, 3-year-olds and up, fillies and mares, maiden claiming $5,000

4 Princess Madison M Hagerty 12 123

9 Gucci Goochi Guchi N Chaves 20 123
10 Seatabo E Kubinova 10 123
11 Aliciasfirecracker C Papineau 20 117

Throw out the last race by Princess Madison as she got upset in the starting gate, had to be reloaded, and then had a troubled trip before being eased. She was second in her career debut in her prior race, and an effort like that would give her a decent shot to win this at a decent price. Givanoya lost as the favorite in her last race, but she had an excuse as she was bumped repeatedly early in the race. Steffie Du Bois has been second or third in six of 10 career starts.

4 6 ½ furlongs, purse $9,975, 3-year-olds and up, claiming $12,500/$10,000

3 Big Bad Brown C Papineau 2 124
4 Exclusive Star I Enriquez 10 124

SCRATCHED: Bid for Pride

He’s a Cruiser should be ready for his best race in his third start after a long layoff. Advancement fits well at this level. Improviso has been racing in Southern California and drops in class.

5 6 furlongs, purse $4,725, 3-year-olds and up, fillies and mares, WCL $2,500
PP Horse Jockey Line Wt.
3 Lizzy Lass E Kubinova 5 123

8 Sicily Grace Cmacho-Flrs 20 123
9 Missis Caldwell J Samuels 20 123
10 Bahati Gold I Enriquez 10 123

Lizzy Lass gets an extra furlong after rallying for second in her last race. This is her best distance. Denim and Diamonds was a well-beaten third as the even-money favorite in her last race. Fly Away gets a little more distance, and that gives her a shot to get into the trifecta.

6 6 furlongs, purse $9,975, 3-year-olds and up, fillies and mares, claiming $12,500/$10,000
PP Horse Jockey Line Wt.
1 Train Freeze I Enriquez 4 117

3 Premo Jewel R Richard 12 117
5 Bullys Blond Girl Camacho-Flrs 8 123
7 Shannon Marie D Lopez 12 117
8 Strange Luck E Kubinova 2 117

There is a lot of early speed in this race, so it will set up well for closer like Train Freeze, who is taking a small jump up in class after a nice win. Lumen Took It will also be rallying late. Starlight Gem might be the quickest of the horses contending for the early lead.

7 6 ½ furlongs, purse $17,950, 3-year-olds and up, fillies and mares, claiming $32,000/$25,000
PP Horse Jockey Line Wt.
1 Perfect Pie J Whitaker 2 119
2 Royal Moses J Matias 9/2 123
4 Sweet Nellie Brown I Enriquez 5/2 123
3 Maggie’s Special E Kubinova 8 119
5 Seventyprcentcocoa J Gutierrez 9/5 119

Perfect Pie could get an easy lead, and she runs hard every time. Royal Moses runs for a claiming price for the first time. Sweet Nellie Brown will be rallying late.

8 6 ½ furlongs, purse $50,000, 3-year-old, fillies, Seattle Handicap
PP Horse Jockey Line Wt.

2 Sunset Time D Lopez 8 117
4 Song of Seattle D Hoonan 20 113
7 Lasting Rose N Chaves 12 115
8 Innocent Love I Enriquez 8 118

Stopshoppingdebbie looked fantastic in winning the only race of her career last year, but it would certainly be no surprise if one of the other two Tom Wenzel trainees in this race, Goin to the Window or Blueberry Smoothie (both stakes winners last year), won.

9 5 ½ furlongs, purse $6,725, 3-year-old, maiden claiming $7,500

5 Cat Can Bluff E Kubinova 7/2 122
4 Big Question J Gutierrez 3 122
2 Nitro Road D Hoonan 6 122
1 Summer Cowboy Camacho-Flrs 8 122
3 White River Pirate R Bowen 15 122
6 Withoutgettinglost I Enriquez 5/2 122
7 Peak a Boot Song R Richard 6 122

Cat Can Bluff has been working out well for a solid trainer (Charles Essex), and he doesn’t have to be great to beat this group. Big Question drops in class again after getting drubbed in his first two career starts, both as the favorite. Nitro Road also drops in class after two poor efforts.

BEST BET: Perfect Pie
