First three horses listed in each race in order of predicted finish.

Saturday

First race: 2 p.m.

Hot Date has been a disappointment in two starts this year, losing her last race as the 4-5 favorite, but she can rebound here. Mrs. Corcoran finished second to a horse in her last race who won again last week. Ugotthemoneyhoney hasn’t raced since September, when she won by 6 lengths.

Perfect Nodouble gets a much better post position after finishing third at this distance in his last race. Matfinish has two seconds and a third in four tries at this distance but is winless in 14 starts. Jo B With Thee beat the top pick in his last race after nearly holding on to win when setting a rather slow pace.

Bad Boy K drops to a winning level. Mo’em Down seems to have an aversion to winning (one win in 20 starts) but he has finished second seven times. Smokenomore has a good shot to get into the trifecta.

Smokin Badge likes this distance and should improve in his second start at Emerald Downs. Zippin E has won four times at this distance. Get Well is better than her last race indicates.

Demonaire could get an easy early lead. Miss Fun Run was claimed out of her last race when she lost by a neck as the 4-5 favorite. She should be favored again. Apple of Sam’s Eye is rarely out of the money.

Way to Go Lo drops in class again and trainer Junior Coffey is due to get a win. Meant to Be Mia plunges in class again, which is not a great sign, but she will likely be leading early and could easily win. Aces and Deuces will be rallying late.

SCRATCHED: Kiss Em

A Belle and a Cat has not raced since July but she has not been worse than second in four career starts, and trainer Tom Wenzel has his horses ready coming off layoffs. High Caliber did not like the sloppy track in her last start, so give her another chance. Pretty Darn Good can fill out the trifecta.

Our Eagle Boy plunges in class. He is a stakes-winner at this distance. He’s a Cruiser had a tough trip in his last race, flopping as the favorite. He drops in class, stretches out in distance, and could surprise this field. Lit’l in Din Boy is 2 for 2 at this distance.

All My Friends was second as the 1-2 favorite in his last race and should be favored again. Run Atom finished right behind the top pick in his last race. Slew the Cat has been in the money in all six of his starts, all at Portland Meadows.
