4 Inkey Mooey I Enriquez 2 121
1 Chrissy’s Wedding F Valdez 5 121
5 Gold Trick L Camacho-Flores 9/2 121

Reflective Glory was second last weekend, and was 6¼ lengths ahead of the third-place horse. Katsthoughts drops in class for her 3-year-old debut. Inkey Mooey was in the money in two of three starts last year.

4 Miss Fast Eddie A Sanguinetti 2 118
5 Point Da Harbor E Kubinova 5 118
2 Parker’s Prospect J Rosales 8 118
3 Mz Dyno R Bowen 3 118

Slewbie Doo will likely try to lead from gate to wire. Miss Fast Eddie drops to a career-low level, and there should be enough early speed to set up her late rally. Point Da Harbor will also be rallying in the stretch.

3 51/2 furlongs, purse $9,975, 3-year-olds and up, fillies and mares, WCL $12,500/$10,000
PP Horse Jockey Line Wt.
2 La Tiela A Sanguinetti 9/5 120

3 Diner’s Diva E Kubinova 3 120
1 Merry Sherry J Zunino 6 120
4 Athina Lee J Matias 7/2 117

La Tiela lost by a head in an allowance race at Turf Paradise in her last start, in February, for red-hot trainer Jeff Metz. Ms P K Blue has been in the money in all four of her starts at Emerald and was claimed for $25,000 here last summer. Diner’s Diva broker her maiden in her 10th start, in January at Golden Gate, and makes her first start since then.

4 6 furlongs, purse $5,700, 3-year-olds and up, fillies and mares, WCL $3,500

3 Cha Cha Latte R Bowen 8/5 123
1 Parkers Gibsongirl J Rosales 6 123
4 I. C. Rosie A Sanguinetti 9/2 123

Grand Baylee has been first or second 13 times in 21 starts and has not been worse than second in four starts on wet tracks. Port Wakefield has a chance to lead from gate to wire. Cha Cha Latte has won three straight races.

5 51/2 furlongs, purse $9,975, 3-year-olds and up, claiming $12,500/$10,000
PP Horse Jockey Line Wt.

2 Brock Says L Mawing 7/2 118
1 Parkers Bluff R Bowen 5 118
3 Whiskeyonthehouse F Valdez 8 118
6 Secret Harbor J Gutierrez 9/2 115

Star of the Dia has good early speed and can lead all the way against this group. Da Ruler might regain his form in his first race at Emerald after racing in Southern California. Brock Says has been in the money in nine of 11 starts at Emerald.

6 51/2 furlongs, purse $5,300, 3-year-olds and up, WCL $2,500
PP Horse Jockey Line Wt.

5 Playsummusic L Camacho-Flores 6 121
6 Decisive Fact J Rosales 12 121
7 Strong Move P Fernandez 15 121
8 Lots of Prayers J Matias 12 121

SCRATCHED: Brother Greg.

Frisco Bound has been first or second in eight of 11 starts and should win if he maintains the form he had at Turf Paradise in Phoenix. Spending prefers more distance, but meets a weak group. Sam Jam has trainer Frank Lucarelli on his side.

7 51/2 furlongs, purse $19,950, 3-year-old, Allowance
PP Horse Jockey Line Wt.
1 Smart Copy I Enriquez 3 119
2 Stikine Slough R Bowen 9/5 119
5 Can’t Get Enough E Kubinova 2 119
3 Air Grinder L Camacho-Flores 10 119
4 Kenai King L Mawing 3 119

Smart Copy can take a big leap forward in her first race as a 3-year-old. Stikine Slough showed some ability last year, winning by 18¾ lengths in a maiden victory. Can’t Get Enough also has a good chance as the top three picks seem evenly matched.

8 6 furlongs, purse $21,000, 3-year-olds and up, Allowance
PP Horse Jockey Line Wt.
3 Winning Machine J Matias 4 120
6 Finallygotabentley L Mawing 8 120
1 Mr. Bowling I Enriquez 3 120
2 Somewhere With You J Rosales 20 120
4 Mike Man’s Gold F Valdez 12 120
5 Scat Daddybaby G Mitchell 10 120
7 Country Rules J Zunino 12 120
8 Why Not Be Perfect A Sanguinetti 12 120
9 Running Tap L Zacherle 20 120
10 Rocky’s Quest J Gutierrez 9/2 120
11 Jebrica E Kubinova 5 120

This is a great race with several of these horses having raced in last year’s Longacres Mile, and it’s a tough handicapping race because many in here prefer longer distances. Let’s give a slight edge to Winning Machine, who has been training great for his first start at age 8, but is looking for his first win since 2012. I have a feeling Finallygotabentley will be a lot better than he was as a 3-year-old and could surprise in this race. Mr. Bowling is a Grade III stakes winner.

9 51/2 furlongs, purse $5,500, 3-year-olds and up, fillies and mares, maiden claiming $5,000
PP Horse Jockey Line Wt.
5 Sunshine Candy E Kubinova 3 123
4 You Send Me J Whitaker 4 123
3 And Stay Out I Enriquez 4 117
1 Claudia’s Cahill L Mawing 5/2 123
2 That’s a Bingo A Sanguinetti 7/2 123
6 Parker Be Mine J Rosales 12 123

Sunshine Candy and You Send Me both have good early speed and could be 1-2 the entire race. And Stay Out didn’t do much at Golden Gate in Northern California, but she could rebound with the change in locales.

BEST BET: Star of the Dia.
