3 Catlow Rim L Gonzalez 8 125
5 Mr Easy Okie P Fernandez 6 125
6 Sneakin Bye J Zunino 9/2 125

Rf Pistol Pete has won five of nine starts at Emerald Downs. Eyes Movin has finished second in five of seven starts at Emerald. Sollovino finished second among 10 in his last race.

2 11/16 miles, purse $5,900, 3-year-olds and up, fillies and mares, claiming $2,500
PP Horse Jockey Line Wt.
2 Get Well E Kubinova 5/2 123
3 Sydney On My Mind L Camacho-Flores 9/2 123
5 Have’n a Wild Time G Mitchell 8/5 123
1 Jo B With Thee J Whitaker 8 123
4 Nobluffjustgo R Bowen 3 123

Get Well had a tough trip in her last race, and was moved up to second after the second-place horse was disqualified for interfering with her. Syndney On My Mind might show some early speed as she stretches out from sprints, and she is in a field where no horse has shown any inclination to lead early. Have’n a Wild Time also has a chance in a tough handicapping race.

3 1 mile, purse $7,450, 3-year-olds and up, fillies and mares, claiming $7,500
PP Horse Jockey Line Wt.
3 Polly Ester Pompom L Mawing 5/2 117
4 Merry Sherry J Zunino 7/2 123
1 Seadrifter I Enriquez 9/5 117
2 Seattle Harbor L Camacho-Flores 9/2 117
5 Katsthoughts E Kubinova 4 117

Polly Ester Pom Pom drops in class again after two poor starts to begin the year. It looks like she might like stretching out to a mile. Merry Sherry is the only 4-year-old (the rest are 3 years old) in the field, and she is also taking a drop in class. Seadrifter crushed a weak field of maidens in her last race.

4 41/2 furlongs, purse $13,225, 2-year-old, maiden claiming $25,000
PP Horse Jockey Line Wt.
2 Percy Fawcett I Enriquez 7/2 118
4 Private Boss F Valdez 4 118
6 Bigbadvoodookitty J Gutierrez 5/2 118
1 Badrock Canyon G Mitchell 5 118
3 Quack of Lightning R Richard 3 118
5 Alaska Treasure L Gonzalez 6 118

Percy Fawcett has been working out well for his debut for trainer Frank Lucarell, and last year’s leading rider, Isaias Enriquez, has been heating up. Private Boss was a very good second in his debut after starting slowly. Bigbadvoodookitty was third, right behind the second pick in his debut.

5 41/2 furlongs, purse $13,225, 2-year-old, fillies, maiden claiming $25,000
PP Horse Jockey Line Wt.
2 Enjewelled R Richard 4 117
4 Pippa Bou Peep E Kubinova 7/2 117
7 Jenny Bear L Mawing 3 117
1 Fine Red Wine J Matias 8 117
3 Jazz Queen F Valdez 9/2 117
5 Stuck River L Camacho-Flores 10 117
6 In Private P Fernandez 10 117
8 Steady Teddy J Gutierrez 6 117

Enjewelled is one of four horses in the field whose father is Private Gold. Enjewelled has had some nice workouts for a trainer who often has his horses ready for their debuts. Stablemate Pippa Bou Peep has also been working out well. Jenny Bear makes her debut for Lucarelli, the second-leading all-time trainer at Emerald who is having another good season.

6 6 furlongs, purse $5,900, 3-year-olds and up, claiming $4,000
PP Horse Jockey Line Wt.
4 Regal Valid R Richard 7/2 121
1 Brother Greg E Kubinova 3 121
3 Atta Boy Lucky D Lopez 9/2 121
2 My Boy Butch L Mawing 2 121
5 Lots of Prayers L Gonzalez 5 121
6 Soul Intent I Enriquez 6 121

Regal Valid takes a pretty big drop in class after facing tough groups in his first three starts of the year. Brother Greg was scratched out of a race Friday to run in this one, and he has finished in the top two in four of five starts at Emerald. Atta Boy Lucky might have the most early speed in the field.

7 1 mile, purse $7,200, 3-year-olds and up, fillies and mares, claiming $5,000/$4,000
PP Horse Jockey Line Wt.
6 Call Me Cinderella J Matias 9/2 119
1 Wedge of Gold R Bowen 5/2 119
5 Lizzy Lass G Mitchell 6 119
2 Montelena R Richard 5 119
3 Poly Squat J Zunino 7/2 119
4 Miss Madavor E Kubinova 3 116

Call Me Cinderella has had good success at Emerald (four wins and three seconds in 15 starts), and she should like stretching out to a route. Wedge of Gold tries hard every time, but the distance could be an issue. Jockey Gallyn Mitchell chose to ride Lizzy Lass rather than the second pick, whom he rode to a win in her last start.

8 61/2 furlongs, purse $50,000, 3-year-olds and up, fillies and mares, WA State Legislators Stakes
PP Horse Jockey Line Wt.
6 Stopshoppingdebbie R Bowen 1/2 123
4 Goin to the Window J Gutierrez 8 117
5 Madame Pele G Mitchell 9/2 118
1 Tabled With Gold R Richard 12 115
2 Blueberry Smoothie J Matias 6 117
3 Finding More E Kubinova 10 115

Stopshoppingdebbie was awesome in her 4-year-old debut. She will provide no wagering value, but has a great shot to make it 7 for 7 to begin her career. Stablemate Goin to the Window is better than her last start indicates. Madame Pele finished second behind the top pick in last month’s Hastings Handicap.

9 6 furlongs, purse $5,500, 3-year-olds and up, fillies and mares, maiden claiming $5,000
PP Horse Jockey Line Wt.
6 Steal the Show Lo R Richard 3 117
5 Country Grind G Mitchell 5/2 117
7 Lasting Smooch L Mawing 2 117
1 Parker’s Honey P Fernandez 20 117
2 Musical Delight L Camacho-Flores 10 117
3 Wemissstacy J Matias 8 117
4 Grantbobbiawish F Valdez 6 123

SCRATCHED: Featherlite.

Steal the Show Lo has been working out well for her debut for trainer Junior Coffey, who is overdue to get his first win of the season. He has a good winning percentage year after year. Country Grind makes her debut for state Hall of Fame trainer Jim Penney, and I like the recent 6-furlong workout. Lasting Smooch looks the best of the horses that have raced before.

BEST BET: Stopshoppingdebbie.
