First race: 2 p.m.

1 6 furlongs, purse $6,725, 3-year-old, fillies, maiden claiming weight for age $7,500
PP Horse Jockey Line Wt.
5 Seadrifter I Enriquez 2 121
3 Make Some Noise R Richard 3 121
6 Crush On You E Kubinova 5/2 121
1 Dawnofchesterhouse D Lopez 15 121
2 Chrissy’s Wedding J Matias 6 121
4 Pacific Dream F Valdez 5 121

SCRATCHED: Oh Glorious Day.

Seadrifter takes a big drop in class. Make Some Noise was a solid fourth, just 1½ lengths behind the winner in his career debut two weeks ago. The third-place horse in that race won last weekend. Crushing On You beat the second pick in that race two weeks ago, losing by a neck after closing strongly in the stretch.

2 6 furlongs, purse $7,200, 3-year-olds and up, fillies and mares, claiming $5,000/$4,000
PP Horse Jockey Line Wt.
6 Cha Cha Latte R Bowen 9/5 119
2 Montelena R Richard 5/2 119
4 Touch of Elegance J Matias 7/2 119
1 Lizzy Lass G Mitchell 12 119
3 La Pearla I Enriquez 5 116
5 Bella Angelina J Whitaker 9/2 119

If the track is fast, Cha Cha Latte has a great chance to win her third straight race of the meet, but has never run on a wet track. So, if the track is wet, move Lizzy Lass into the top spot. She does her best racing on a sloppy track, a surface on which she won her final two starts at Emerald in 2013. In either event, the second and third picks are Montelena, who has won her first two starts of the meet, followed by Touch of Elegance, who has been in the money in 24 of 32 starts at Emerald.

3 6 furlongs, purse $5,700, 3-year-olds and up, claiming $3,500
PP Horse Jockey Line Wt.
2 Advancement J Whitaker 10 124
6 He’s All Heart I Enriquez 6 124
5 War Wizard D Lopez 3 124
1 He’s a Goblin J Gutierrez 9/2 124
3 Mr. Top Kat L Camacho-Flores 2 124
4 Hip Hop City R Richard 7/2 124

SCRATCHED: Atta Boy Lucky.

In a race with a ton of early speed, it might be a horse who comes from off the pace that wins, and it seems like Advancement could do that for jockey Jennifer Whitaker, who is overdue for some wins. He’s All Heart was doomed with a poor start in his last race and it’s a good sign that Enriquez keeps the mount. War Wizard was claimed for this price out of his last race, when he disappointed as the 6-5 favorite. He is now in the barn of Emerald’s all-time leading trainer, Tim McCanna.

4 6 furlongs, purse $17,850, 3-year-olds and up, fillies and mares, maiden special weight
PP Horse Jockey Line Wt.

1 Ee Da How L Camacho-Flores 15 123
2 Red Ran Back G Mitchell 6 117
3 Quiet Wisdom R Bowen 6 117
6 River Call D Lopez 15 123
8 Sanibel Harbor I Enriquez 5/2 117

Timeless Pleasure was a $150,000 yearling purchase, but hasn’t done a lot in two career starts. Just a Love had a great 6-furlong workout last week in preparation for her career debut. Wedding Kake finished ahead of the top pick in her career debut a month ago.

5 51/2 furlongs, purse $5,400, 3-year-olds and up, claiming $2,500
PP Horse Jockey Line Wt.
4 Jerry’s Fever R Bowen 5/2 124
1 Fighting City Hall R Richard 8 124
8 Kinzie’s King L Mawing 4 124
2 Mo’s Flashy Date I Enriquez 2 124
3 Boundtogetbusy E Kubinova 6 124
5 Royal Shrine D Lopez 20 124
6 Harbor Wind J Whitaker 8 124
7 Only Be Cause L Gonzalez 15 124

Jerry’s Fever has burned a lot of money, losing twice as a big favorite. He will likely be favored again. Fighting City Hall has been first or second in six career starts at Emerald. Kinzie’s King was second in a similar race two weeks ago.

6 6 furlongs, purse $10,300, 3-year-olds and up, fillies and mares, WCL $12,500
PP Horse Jockey Line Wt.
5 Inquiry Miss F Valdez 4 120
7 Ms P K Blue I Enriquez 2 123
3 Starlight Gem L Mawing 3 120
1 Point Da Harbor E Kubinova 12 117
2 Sweet Jenny J Zunino 8 120
4 Lumen Took It J Gutierrez 8 120
6 Music and Me R Bowen 7/2 123

Inquiry Miss won her first two races last year after a long layoff, and now makes her first start this year. Ms P K Blue won a similar race three weeks ago. Starlight Gem has good early speed.

7 6 furlongs, purse $10,500, 3-year-olds and up, claiming $10,000/$8,000
PP Horse Jockey Line Wt.
4 Camp Granada I Enriquez 2 120
5 Bleu Tarp E Kubinova 5 120
2 Storming Kentucky R Bowen 3 120
1 Ugottabcatty L Mawing 10 120
3 Memphis Mobster D Lopez 7/2 120
6 Leadership J Matias 8 120
7 Surfliner R Richard 15 120

SCRATCHED: Come Away Home.

This is a very good race for this level. Camp Granada takes a big drop in class after losing the lead late last month. Bleu Tarp should be tough if ready after a long layoff. Storming Kentucky takes a small step up in class after a nice win.

8 51/2 furlongs, purse $18,900, 3-year-old, fillies, AOC $25,000
PP Horse Jockey Line Wt.
1 Lotta Attitude J Gutierrez 9/5 121
2 Belladiva R Richard 4 117
6 Charismata L Mawing 9/2 117
3 Lexie Arleen F Valdez 6 119
4 Knight Club A Sanguinetti 6 121
5 Sunpenny I Enriquez 5 117
7 K K’s Wonderwoman D Lopez 8 117

Lotta Attitude tries winners for the first time after dominating maidens last month. Belladiva lost by three-quarters of a length in a very good effort three weeks ago. Charismata has finished in the money in all three of her career starts.

9 6 furlongs, purse $5,500, 3-year-olds and up, maiden claiming $5,000
PP Horse Jockey Line Wt.
7 Splendini D Lopez 8/5 124
6 Medicinegoin’down L Mawing 9/5 118
1 Nacho Macho J Matias 7/2 118
2 Onetimeforolmark J Zunino 12 118
3 The Stolen Way L Gonzalez 15 124
4 Plan A R Richard 15 118
5 Everydayimhustlin J Whitaker 15 124

Splendini can win this if he likes the real dirt at Emerald after running on the synthetic surface at Golden Gate in Northern California. Medincinegoin’down was a well-beaten second as the 1-2 favorite three weeks ago. Nacho Macho can complete the trifecta.

BEST BET: Lotta Attitude.
