Sun City, a 10-year-old mare, has been in decent form at Turf Paradise in Phoenix and has been in the money in 31 of 43 starts at Emerald. She’sontopyodeling isn’t real consistent, but could win this if it’s one of her good days.

7 Hard Slider L Mawing 5 120
8 Hip Hop City I Enriquez 6 120

Rezar couldn’t make up ground on a tough horse in his last race, but finished second. He is tough at this level. Dancing Yodeler should give his 128 owners in the Emerald Racing Club a good thrill. He seldom runs a bad race. Snooper Dauper jumps up in class after a nice win.

2 State Capital L Mawing 5/2 121
5 Decisive Fact L Gonzalez 8 121
6 Lean Cozzene D Lopez 5 121

Sam Jam runs fairly consistently, and his usual effort should be good enough to win this race. Cat Mon Blu should improve again in his second start after a layoff. Strong Move will try to get the early lead.

BEST BET: Trick Or Retreat.
