First three horses listed in each race in order of predicted finish.

July 04

First race: 2:15 p.m.

1 Eight Hundred And Seventy Yards, purse $4,400, 3-year-olds and up, claiming $5,000 PP Horse Jockey Line Wt. 7 Purple Hays A Sanguinetti 5-1 120 1 Seventy East I Enriquez 2-1 125 4 A K Racer L Lopez 3-1 125 2 Mister Stewart L Camacho-Flores 12-1 122 3 The Bien’s Gift E Kubinova 5-1 122 5 Fastest C Doll 15-1 122 6 Seven Demons J Rosales 9-2 122

Purple Hays is extremely quick and will likely be leading early. Seventy East, the only Quarterhorse in the field, won a similar race last month. A K Racer is coming off a poor race, but he could easily rebound and it would be no surprise if he won.

2 1 mile, purse $7,450, 3-year-olds and up, fillies and mares, claiming $7,500 PP Horse Jockey Line Wt. 2 Train Freeze D Lopez 5-2 117 3 My Halo Is Rusty I Enriquez 2-1 117 4 Joy’s Jaguar J Zunino 3-1 123 1 Winter Sunshine J Gutierrez 4-1 117 5 Midnight Maggie A Sanguinetti 9-2 117

Train Freeze is tough at this level, but this is her first try at a mile. My Halo Is Rusty just won at this distance but this is her first race against winners. Joy’s Jaguar has raced just once on real dirt, losing badly last year here in a stakes race. She drops in class, and will be tough if she can handle with switch from turf to dirt.

3 51/2 furlongs, purse $7,450, 3-year-old, claiming $7,500 PP Horse Jockey Line Wt. 5 Timber Bull J Gutierrez 3-1 122 3 Mansion Mayhem A Sanguinetti 5-2 122 1 Credit Line I Enriquez 2-1 122 2 Cinchmeup R Bowen 8-1 122 4 Carl Command R Richard 7-2 122

Timber Bull takes a big drop in class for his first start of 2013. Mansion Mayhem faced older horses in his last race and returns to just facing 3-year-olds. Credit Line was claimed for $7,500 out of his last race, when he broke his maiden.

4 1 mile, purse $4,400, 3-year-olds and up, claiming $2,500 PP Horse Jockey Line Wt. 6 Crescent Bar J Gutierrez 2-1 124 7 Laachem D Lopez 8-1 121 8 Run Atom J Whitaker 7-2 121 1 Wild W B T L Lopez 20-1 121 2 Lookin At Gold J Matias 15-1 121 3 Diamond Peak A Sanguinetti 10-1 115 4 Blazing J Zunino 6-1 121 5 Peakaboot Postette N Chaves 12-1 124 9 James C Doll 15-1 121 10 Gilmore E Kubinova 12-1 115

Crescent Bar has no early speed, which is a bit of a concern, but he stands out in this weak field. Laachem has had decent success at this distance. Run Atom was second 11 days ago at this distance.

5 6 furlongs, purse $5,975, 3-year-olds and up, fillies and mares, claiming $4,000 PP Horse Jockey Line Wt. 2 Bella Angelina J Matias 8-1 123 6 Pretty Darn Good J Zunino 6-1 123 4 Kilauea J Whitaker 8-1 123 1 Take Point I Enriquez 2-1 123 3 High Caliber E Kubinova 5-1 123 5 Excessive Fashion R Richard 4-1 123 7 Myeyesonyou A Sanguinetti 8-1 123 8 Forest Bunny D Lopez 12-1 117

Bella Angelina doesn’t look bad if you toss out her last race. Expecting a rebound here. Pretty Darn Good races at a career-low level. Kilauea has been in the money in six of seven career starts.

6 61/2 furlongs, purse $12,075, 3-year-olds and up, fillies and mares, claiming $17,500/$15,000 PP Horse Jockey Line Wt. 4 Sweet Sara Brown A Sanguinetti 2-1 123 6 Daitanna J Gutierrez 3-1 114 2 Muchas Coronas E Kubinova 7-2 120 1 Meet Sela R Bowen 10-1 123 SCR Eltoninadress Scratched - - 3 English Lace D Lopez 6-1 120 5 Better to Be Lucky I Enriquez 4-1 120

Sweet Sara Brown has been off since a nice win May 26. A similar effort should be enough to win this race. Daitanna is an improving horse. Muchas Coronas finds a much easier spot than her last race.

7 6 furlongs, purse $5,675, 3-year-olds and up, fillies and mares, claiming $4,000 PP Horse Jockey Line Wt. 4 Hot Date I Enriquez 9-5 117 6 She’s a Time Bomb J Rosales 2-1 123 2 Steffie Du Bois D Lopez 4-1 123 SCR Tizabrightness Scratched - - 1 Roxo R Bowen 12-1 123 3 Premo Jewel J Gutierrez 9-2 117 5 Debbie’s Striker L Lopez 12-1 123

Hot Date hasn’t done much in three starts this year despite being well-bet each time. She gets a slight nod in a weak field. She’s a Time Bet has been well bet in all four of her races this year, but has not been better than second. Steffie Du Bois finally won in her 12th career start last month.

8 6 furlongs, purse $18,900, 3-year-old, fillies, AOC $25,000 PP Horse Jockey Line Wt. 2 Inquiry Miss R Bowen 5-2 121 3 Beautranda I Enriquez 8-5 121 5 She’sontopyodeling J Gutierrez 7-2 121 1 Mo’s Teresa D Lopez 8-1 118 4 Strange Luck L Lopez 4-1 121

Inquiry Miss wasn’t embarrassed in her last race against a tough group of older horses. She has a great chance against these 3-year-olds. Beautranda races for the first time on real dirt but he won his only start on synthetic dirt at Golden Gate in Northern California. She’sontopyodeling has won two straight and takes a jump up in class.

9 61/2 furlongs, purse $18,900, 3-year-old, AOC $25,000 PP Horse Jockey Line Wt. 6 Mike Man’s Gold J Matias 10-1 122 4 Country Rules D Lopez 5-2 122 3 Boyett J Gutierrez 2-1 122 1 Ankeny Hill L Camacho-Flores 7-2 122 2 Star of the Dia I Enriquez 3-1 122 5 Whistle Cat R Bowen 10-1 122

Mike Man’s Gold, a two-time stakes winner, races for a claiming price for the first time. Country Rules won a similar race last month. Boyett also has a good shot in an even race.

10 51/2 furlongs, purse $4,725, 3-year-olds and up, fillies and mares, claiming $2,500 PP Horse Jockey Line Wt. 4 Ducoti J Gutierrez 7-5 123 2 Denim and Diamonds I Enriquez 7-2 123 6 Lizzy Lass L Lopez 4-1 123 1 Atta Lora L Camacho-Flores 3-1 123 3 Mile Easy E Kubinova 12-1 123 5 Sicily Grace M Hardison 15-1 118

Ducoti will try to lead gate to wire. Denim and Diamonds was third of 12 in her last race despite starting from the No. 11 post. Lizzy Lass will be rallying late.

Best bet: Inquiry Miss
