Wozniacki plays for title in Istanbul Cup
Two months after the end of their engagement, Caroline Wozniacki could join former fiance Rory McIlroy in becoming a champion on Sunday.
Wozniacki will play Roberta Vinci of Italy for the Istanbul Cup title after they reached the final as seeded, 1 and 2, on Saturday.

Mayer, Ferrer meet in Hamburg Open final
Leonardo Mayer of Argentina will play top-seeded David Ferrer in the Hamburg Open final after they won by straight sets.
The 46th-ranked Mayer converted four of his seven break chances to upset the seventh-seeded Philipp Kohlschreiber 7-5, 6-4, and Ferrer eased past 17-year-old Alexander Zverev 6-0, 6-1.
Bills’ Dareus to miss start of training camp
Buffalo Bills starting defensive tackle Marcell Dareus won’t be ready for the opening of training camp in his latest offseason setback.
The Bills announced Dareus was placed on the active/non-football injury list Saturday, a day before the team holds its first practice in suburban Rochester, N.Y.
The Bills didn’t say why he was placed on the list. Coach Doug Marrone won’t be available for comment until Sunday. In early May, Dareus was arrested in his native Alabama and charged with possession of synthetic marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Four weeks later, he was allegedly racing teammate Jerry Hughes when he crashed his 2012 Jaguar in Orchard Park, N.Y.
Leaders back TV channel, other changes
Moving forward on IOC President Thomas Bach’s reform process, Olympic leaders backed his proposals for setting up an Olympic television channel, reshaping the bid city procedure, and adding more flexibility to the sports program.
Bach convened a summit of 16 key IOC and sports officials in Lausanne, Switzerland, to press ahead with Olympic Agenda 2020, his strategic blueprint for the future.
The leaders supported the platform of changes that Bach will put to a vote at a special International Olympic Committee session in Monaco from Dec. 8-9.
ACC can’t use helmet cams this season
The ACC will not be able to experiment with helmet cams and coach-quarterback communications systems this season, CBSSports.com has learned. The NCAA’s rules committee rejected the conference’s request to experiment with the communication devices, partly due to timing. The committee said the June request did not allow for enough time to formally discuss it.
Somali Lemonade wins Diana at Saratoga
Somali Lemonade rallied down the middle of the track and held off a late run from Stephanie’s Kitten to win the $500,000 Diana by a neck at Saratoga Race Course in Saratoga Springs, N.Y.
Ridden by Luis Saez for trainer Michael Matz, the 5-year-old Lemon Drop Kid mare ran 11/8 miles in 1:48.51 over the inner turf course in capturing the first of 15 Grade I flat races during the six-week meeting.
