Geoff Baker, Mariners beat writer
Geoff Baker has covered the Mariners since September 2006. Prior to that, he covered the Toronto Blue Jays for the Toronto Star since 1998. Baker also worked as an investigative reporter, business writer, crime and legal affairs reporter for The Gazette in Montreal from 1991 to 1998. Larry Stone, national baseball writer
Larry Stone joined The Seattle Times in 1996 to cover the Seahawks, and has been national baseball writer since 1997. A graduate of the University of California at Berkeley, Stone has been covering major-league baseball since 1986.
