Corey Simpson hit a two-run homer with two outs in the top of the ninth inning to lead the Everett AquaSox to a dramatic 3-2 win over host Spokane in a Northwest League game Sunday afternoon.

Spokane led 2-1 entering the ninth inning and the first two Everett hitters in the ninth made outs. Kyle Petty singled to keep the AquaSox alive, then Simpson followed with his fifth home run of the season.

Everett’s Kody Kerski got the final three outs for his first save.
