The Portland Winterhawks, down 2-0 in the second period, scored five consecutive goals to beat the Seattle Thunderbirds 5-2 Saturday night at the ShoWare Center in Kent.

Scott Eansor and Keegan Kolesar scored the goals for Seattle (26-17-3-0), both on the power play. Landon Bow made 31 saves for the T-birds.

RED DEER, Alberta — Brandon Hagel had a goal and two assists as the Red Deer Rebels defeated the Everett Silvertips 4-1.

Graham Millar scored the only goal for Everett (28-14-2-2), which still leads the U.S. Division of the Western Hockey League. Carter Hart made 21 saves for the Silvertips.
