1 Can Quinn be crowned queen in the 3A softball world?
She’s just a sophomore at Enumclaw, but Quinn Breidenbach has quickly risen as one of the top pitchers in the state and is being courted by several Division I programs. She has said she plans to make an oral commitment this summer.
First, though, she’d love to lead the Hornets to their first state title in fastpitch and they are among the favorites in a tough 3A field as the only unbeatens (24-0). They are ranked No. 20 in the nation by MaxPreps.
Briedenbach, who throws in the mid-to-upper 60s, is 19-0 with a 0.33 earned-run average and 200 strikeouts in 1062
3 innings. She also carries a .554 batting average with 20 extra-base hits and 39 RBI.
