Some of the state’s top girls basketball seniors will get together on Saturday at Jefferson High School for the Washington State Coaches Association All-State games.

The first game starts at 1 p.m., featuring the Class 1A/B all stars. Class 3/2A will follow at 3, and the 5 p.m. Class 4A game will end the event. All three games are East vs. West.


The game features several players who will play Division I basketball next season, including Oak Harbor’s Heidi McNeill (Washington), Snohomish’s Sydney Benson (Eastern Washington), Snohomish County Christian’s Tara Holgate (Eastern Washington), Kennedy’s Carly Koebel (Portland) and Lake Washington’s Anne Phippard (Montana State).

Also playing will be Ophelia Whitfield, who recently helped Chief Sealth to a Class 3A state championship.
