Mercer Island and defending champ Bellevue meet in the Division I final, and Nathan Hale and Garfield play for the Division II championship Saturday at Memorial Stadium.
Mercer Island and Bellevue will play for the Division I boys lacrosse state championship after semifinal victories Wednesday. Nathan Hale and Garfield will play for the Division II title.
Both title games are Saturday at Seattle’s Memorial Stadium. The Division II final is scheduled for 3:30 p.m., and the Division I championship game at 6 p.m. The full day of action starts with youth games beginning at 10:30 a.m.
Both finals will be broadcast live on The Lacrosse Network at www.WashingtonHSLax.com, and the Division I game will be broadcast on demand through Comcast’s Varsity Sports on Xfinity TV.
In the Division I semifinals Wednesday at Islander Stadium, Mercer Island (20-3-0) defeated Bainbridge (14-9-0) in overtime, 7-6. Hayden Reisman fired home the winning shot 30 seconds after power was restored after an outage that occurred just a minute into the sudden-death period.

In the other Division I semi, defending state champ Bellevue downed Eastside Catholic 12-6. Cole Johnson had four goals and Hank Bethke three for Bellevue (20-2-0). Eastside Catholic finished 13-3-0.
In Division II, Nathan Hale dispatched Ballard 14-3 in its semifinal, while Garfield downed Richland 12-7. Nathan Hale goes into the championship game 16-4-0. Garfield (15-0-0) is back in the final after losing to Snohomish in last year’s final.
