What will McClatcher do for an encore?
After two magnificent seasons, Chico McClatcher has many wondering how much more to expect in his final campaign for Federal Way. He piled up more than 2,500 all-purpose yards with 26 TDs in leading the Eagles to the Class 4A state semifinals last year and might have an even more expanded role this fall.
Beam me up
Beamer never finished higher than fourth in the SPSL South Division since joining in 2004 (tying for fourth with Graham-Kapowsin in 2010), but the Titans have tall expectations this year with nine starters back on offense and seven on defense.
Welcome back, Decatur
After four seasons in SPSL 3A, where they won only two league games, Decatur opted back up to 4A this year. The Gators last finished above .500 in league play in 2003.
