CHENEY — Tyler Harvey set a Big Sky Conference record by going 20 for 20 from the foul line en route to a career-high 36 points to carry Eastern Washington to a 90-83 win over Southern Utah on Thursday.

The previous perfect free-throw record was 16 of 16 by EWU’s Jason Lewis in 2001. Two other players have made 20 free throws in a game.

In the last 2:48 the Eagles (8-10, 3-4) made 16 of 17 free throws, finishing 38 of 49, both school records. Venky Jois added 19 points.

Thunderbirds (1-15, 0-7) fell to 0-10 on the road with their 15th straight loss. They were 11 of 19 from the line but shot 54 percent from the field, hitting 8 of 17 three-pointers. Trey Kennedy had a career-high 22 points and A.J. Hess had 17.

No. 5 Florida 68, at Alabama 62

Michael Frazier II scored 18 points and made five three-pointers to lead Florida over Alabama. It was the 10th consecutive win for the Gators (16-2, 5-0 Southeastern Conference), matching last season’s longest streak.

The Crimson Tide (8-10, 2-3) had its league-best 14-game SEC home winning streak snapped.

Frazier shot 5 of 13, all from three-point range. Casey Prather scored 14 points on 6-of-16 shooting for the Gators.

Natalie Achonwa had 23 points and nine rebounds, Lindsay Allen added a season-high 16 points, and second-ranked Notre Dame shook off a slow start to beat Miami for its 21st straight home victory.

The Irish (18-0, 5-0 Atlantic Coast Conference) are off to their best start since going 23-0 en route to the national championship in 2000-01.

No. 3 Duke 85, at No.24 Florida State 77 (OT)

Tricia Liston scored 25 points and Elizabeth Williams had 20 as Duke (19-1, 6-0) needed overtime to beat Florida State. The Seminoles (14-5, 2-4) wasted a career night from Natasha Howard — 28 points, 21 rebounds with five blocks.

No. 25 Gonzaga 91, at Loyola Marymount 82 (OT)

Haiden Palmer scored a career-high 32 points as Gonzaga held on to defeat Loyola Marymount in overtime for its seventh straight win.

Loyola Marymount (5-14, 2-6 West Coast Conference) set up overtime when Deanna Johnson, who had a career-high 25 points, made three free throws with less than a second remaining.

Shelby Chezlek rebounded a missed free throw and scored to give Gonzaga (17-3, 7-1) a 73-72 lead with 30 seconds left and Sunny Greinacher added two free throws at three seconds to make it a three-point game, setting up Johnson’s heroics.
