LAS VEGAS — Behind Tony Binetti’s career-high 25 points and six free throws by Chad Williams in the final 80 seconds, Seattle Pacific won its sixth straight men’s basketball game, 90-80 over previously unbeaten Central Missouri State at the High Desert Classic yesterday at the McDermott Center.

The Falcons (8-2) made 57 percent of their field-goal attempts, including 9 of 15 three-pointers.

Binetti scored four points in the final four minutes as SPU staved off one last charge by the Mules (7-1). After a 12-point lead dwindled to just one, Binetti found Jason Chivers underneath for a layup and a 79-76 lead with 2:06 left.

A combination of six straight missed shots by CMSU and 10 straight made free throws by SPU enabled the Falcons to pull away in the final 1:20.

Corey Brown led the Mules (7-1) with 16 points.
