Seattle's Union Gospel Mission in Pioneer Square received more than 140 donated, new, luxury mattresses for residents in their rehabilitation and recovery dorms.
More than 140 new, luxury mattresses were donated to the Union Gospel Mission and carried into the Pioneer Square facility for residents in the rehabilitation and recovery dorms on Wednesday.
Each mattress from Leesa is valued at $525. Another similar delivery occurred at Hope Place, a women and children’s shelter in Rainier Valley. The total donation is estimated at $150,000 from the Virginia-based company.
Seattle’s Union Gospel Mission in Pioneer Square houses about 300, with another 300 at Hope Place.
