A car stopped in the resulting backup was rear-ended by another vehicle, causing serious injuries, according to the Washington State Patrol.
Westbound Interstate 90 was closed near Easton, east of Snoqualmie Pass, after two semis rolled in collisions, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The cleanup was completed about 10 a.m. and the roadway was reopened, tweeted trooper Brian Moore. At least one of the trailers spilled a load of corn.
A car stopped in traffic caused by the rolled-over semis was rear-ended later in the morning, Moore tweeted. He reported serious injuries in the wreck about a mile away from the initial collisions.
