Seattle police are searching for a man who stabbed another man in Seattle’s First Hill neighborhood this morning.

Police were called to the 1100 block of Madison Street at 7:58 a.m., said spokesman Sean Whitcomb. Upon arriving, police learned that medics had briefly treated a man for what appeared to be a superficial stab wound, Whitcomb said.

The suspect is described as a black man in his 60s, about 6-feet tall with a beard and wearing a blue beanie cap, a black jacket and blue jeans. He’s believed to still be armed with a knife, Whitcomb said.

Police believe the suspect and victim knew each other.
