Hip-hop artist and Internet personality Freddy E died Saturday in Renton of an apparently self-inflicted gunshot, according to the King County Medical Examiner's Office.

On a Facebook post, Buhl’s father, Frederick Douglass Buhl, said the death of his 22-year-old son left his family “saddened beyond words.”
The younger Buhl was best known for his YouTube program “Jerk TV.” The show featured satirical and profane segments and skits, often laced with cutting social commentary and cautionary messages.
On Sunday, the program’s website listed more than 65,000 subscribers and nearly 7 million video views over multiple seasons.

“Not only our family, but the world has lost a talented, sensitive, brilliant young man who lit up our existence with his,” Buhl’s father said in his post.
Nick Fletcher, of the Medical Examiner’s Office, said suicide is the presumed cause of death but that an autopsy would be performed Monday.
The final messages on Buhl’s Twitter account, sent Saturday evening, expressed despair and heartbreak. “If there’s a God then He’s calling me back home,” read one tweet. Buhl also tweeted messages telling his parents he loved them. The final message was, “I’m sorry.”
Members of Buhl’s family gathered Sunday at their church, First AME Church in Seattle. Buhl’s father said in his post that a memorial service will be held at a later date.
Buhl’s Facebook page says he graduated from Nathan Hale High School and the Art Institute of Seattle, where he studied digital filmmaking and video production.
