Woman of Distinction:
Eileen Concannon, a Mercer Island resident and former Girl Scout, was recently named the 2004 Girl Scouts-Totem Council Woman of Distinction. The winner is chosen for making contributions in her field of expertise while continuing to exemplify the values of Girl Scouts in her professional and personal life.


Winery of the Year:

Chateau Ste. Michelle in Woodinville was named American Winery of the Year by Wine Enthusiast magazine’s 2004 Wine Star awards. The winery will be honored during a dinner and award ceremony on Jan. 24 in New York and will be featured in the magazine’s special awards issue.
