SUNDAY: Attempted theft. Witnesses said two people had loosened three wheels on a Volkswagen Jetta. The noise of them dropping tools alerted a witness who came out as the thieves were about to loosen the fourth wheel. The thieves fled when the witness approached them.

SUNDAY: Malicious mischief. An Everett man said tires on his Ford Explorer and his GMC 1500 pickup had been slashed.
SATURDAY: Vehicle prowl. About $400 worth of stereo equipment was stolen from a car in the 10000 block of Holly Drive.
SATURDAY: Burglary. Tools worth about $750 were stolen from a garage in the 2500 block of Chestnut Street.
FRIDAY: Theft/warrant. A 40-year-old Everett man was arrested after he was caught allegedly trying to steal $623.57 worth of merchandise from Top Foods, 1605 S.E. Everett Mall Way. The man was arrested, and police discovered that he had an outstanding arrest warrant for an unrelated charge.
FRIDAY: Malicious mischief. Someone threw a rock through a window of a home in the 1300 block of 100th Place Southeast.
THURSDAY: Theft. A 28-year-old Startup man was cited after police found $147.95 worth of food and other merchandise on him at a Fred Meyer store, 8530 Evergreen Way.
FRIDAY: Assault. A brawl broke out at a home in the 12000 block of North Lakeshore Drive between two women over a bottle of prescription medication.
SUNDAY: Theft. A cellphone was stolen from Target, 18305 Alderwood Mall Parkway.
FRIDAY: Malicious mischief. A car in the 19300 block of 44th Avenue West was “keyed.”
THURSDAY: Forgery. A business in the 3000 block of 184th Street Southwest reported that someone had paid for an item with 22 counterfeit $20 bills.
THURSDAY: An electric drum set valued at $500 was stolen from a car in the 3500 block of 184th Street Southwest.
MONDAY: Theft. A license plate was stolen off a car in the 1200 block of Mill Creek Boulevard.
MONDAY: Burglary. About $70 was stolen from the Mill Creek Library, 15429 Bothell-Everett Highway.
SATURDAY: Burglary. A Sony PlayStation, a laptop computer, an assault rifle, three DVD players, 60 DVDs, a set of walkie-talkies, a sword, binoculars and 30 rounds of .223-caliber bullets were stolen from a home in the 2400 block of 150th Court Southeast.
THURSDAY: Vehicle prowl. Four bottles of Dom Perignon champagne and several Christmas gifts were stolen from a car in the 15500 block of Country Club Drive.
FRIDAY: Drugs. A small baggie of drugs was found in a parking lot in the 19000 block of Highway 2.
MONDAY: Found bicycle. A men’s 10-speed bike was found in the 7300 block of 228th Street Southwest.
MONDAY: Burglary. A power ratchet was stolen from a construction site in the 22300 block of 68th Place Southwest.
SUNDAY: Burglary. Cash and checks were stolen from Romio’s Pizza & Pasta, 4306 228th St. S.W.
MONDAY: Disturbance. Deputies were called to a disturbance in the 14600 block of Admiralty Way. Deputies discovered the incident was actually a group of cheerleaders doing a triple pyramid in a parking lot.
THURSDAY: Fraud. A business in the 27000 block of 102nd Avenue Northwest received two checks worth $328 from a closed account.
