The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office says investigators who found a wallet in the crash area believe 63-year-old David Casey of Friday Harbor, Wash., was aboard the plane that went down Tuesday afternoon about a mile off of Oceano.

The sheriff’s office is still trying to determine whether there was a passenger aboard the plane.

Authorities at first said they had recovered human remains but now say they haven’t found any bodies and are still searching.
