Nursing facility lauds motorcycling group

Eastside Harley-Davidson motorcycle riders were honored at the Providence Marianwood Spring Luncheon on Thursday.

Sunny Wong, president of the Eastside Harley Owners Group, accepted the 2005 Spirit of Marianwood award for the club’s visits to the Issaquah nonprofit nursing facility.

The Harley owners give motorcycle rides to frail Marianwood patients.

The luncheon also raised more than $50,000 for the Providence Marianwood Foundation.
