The King County Sheriff’s Office SWAT team was called to help evict a woman from her home in Bellevue yesterday.

The 54-year-old woman was considered a potential threat because Bellevue police seized 11 rifles and two shotguns at her house last month when she was arrested for pulling a gun on someone who showed up to serve legal papers, police said.

Yesterday’s eviction on Highland Drive was carried out peacefully, said sheriff’s spokesman John Urquhart.

The woman was evicted for failing to make house payments, Urquhart said.

Bellevue will close 156th Avenue Southeast between Lake Hills Boulevard and Southeast 16th Street from 6 a.m. Monday through Wednesday afternoon.

A new boardwalk is being added along the south side of 156th to improve bike and pedestrian access. Construction should be done by November.
