A Kirkland man was shot in the leg during an apparent dispute with his roommate Friday evening, Kirkland police said.

Officers responded to a report of a shooting at about 8:30 p.m. Friday in the 13200 block of 136th Place Northeast, and found a man outside a residence with a gunshot wound in his leg and a suspect still on the scene. Both men live at the residence.

The gunshot victim was taken to Harborview Medical Center with injuries that were not considered life-threatening The suspect was taken to the Kirkland Police Department for questioning, police said.
