A second man has been charged in connection with the July killing of an 18-year-old man whose body was discovered near Snohomish.

A second man has been charged in connection with the July killing of an 18-year-old man whose body was discovered near Snohomish.

The Everett Herald reports ( http://is.gd/bC2Iuf) that 19-year-old Victor Garcia was charged Thursday with first-degree murder. He is being held on $2 million bail.

Prosecutors in Snohomish County allege Garcia and Edgar Alejandre planned to rob and kill Fernando Mendoza in July. Mendoza, of Mount Vernon, reportedly told relatives he was he was going to see Alejandre to settle a drug debt.

Mendoza died of multiple gunshot wounds. His body was found Sept. 3 near Snohomish.

Alejandre was arrested last month in California and charged with second-degree murder.
