In fact, if you know which brands to look for, it’s actually pretty easy to clean your home in a way that’s sustainable and healthy. To help you navigate the cleaning-supply aisle, we’ve rounded up a list of healthier alternatives to try.

Grab Green Natural Non-Chlorine Bleach Alternative ($14 for 60 pods at amazon.com). Instead of reaching for bleach the next time you need to brighten your whites, opt for these naturally derived pods that are free of fragrances, phosphates, optical brighteners, chlorine and dyes. They brighten whites, remove stains and neutralize odors without the harsh bleach smell.
