Dragon's Head Cider is made entirely on Vashon Island from local apples.

Thankful for Washington apples? Serve them up at your holiday meal via a bottle of crisp, effervescent Dragon’s Head Hard Cider.

Wes and Laura Cherry take their product from apple to bottle, blending fruit from their 2,200-tree orchard on Vashon Island with apples harvested by other small Washington family orchards.

Their distinctive ciders complement cheese plates and the big holiday meal. Choose from six varieties, including a bold Colombian Crabapple, or Perry, a pear cider that blends Taylor’s Gold pears with varieties unique to Vashon, first planted by homesteaders a hundred years ago.

$15 at PCC, Whole Foods and the Dragon’s Head tasting room (weekends only)
