You know how addictive chocolate can be. Wait until you try Chocolate Krak, a chocolate-covered sea-foam-textured candy made in Seattle by Lisa Renoe.

Krak is a honeycomb-style concoction created by melting Shipwreck Honey from West Seattle with sugar, corn syrup and baking soda into an aerated candy. It’s then dipped in fair-trade, certified-couverture chocolate and sprinkled with sea salt.

Krak tastes great by itself or sprinkled over ice cream or yogurt. It’s available “naked” (without chocolate) and in original dark chocolate, milk chocolate, or spicy Mexi-Moka with cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, vanilla and ghost pepper for a crisp bite that bites back. Good luck not getting hooked.

$7–$9 at West Seattle Thriftway, Ken’s Market (Queen Anne) and chocolatekrak.com
