Locally made, limited-edition watermelon mead will add a new twist to your next party.
If you’re over rosé all day, serve BeeHaven Sparkling Watermelon Mead at your next summer shindig and make a splash.
The “ancestor of all fermented drinks,” mead is an alcoholic beverage made with honey and served cold. It’s low in alcohol and slightly sweet, making it a great choice for summer.
Tukwila-based Bee Haven handcrafts small-batch meads using natural ingredients. Nine seasonal varieties are on offer, but the just-released Watermelon is a summer standout, with refreshing notes of basil and lime. It’s only available through the end of August, so, like the Seattle sunshine, soak it up while you can!
