LACEY — Designed for active adults ages 55 and older, Shea Homes at Jubilee is a golf resort community located near a wildlife preserve on Puget Sound.

“In today’s hot real estate market, it can be difficult to make a life-changing decision like moving — even for those eager to start the next chapter of their lives,” says Mark Gray, area president for Shea Homes. “When you buy a home at Jubilee, however, you’re not just getting a new place to live, you’re getting a new way to live.”

To learn more, Shea Homes at Jubilee is hosting a spring fair and new model opening on May 20 from noon to 3 p.m. Two new furnished models will be unveiled that day, and other models will also be open for tours.

The festivities continue at Whidbey Passage Park, where guests are invited to enjoy food and beverages, and visit eight local vendors in the vendor village. Visitors are encouraged to bring their furry family members to enjoy the festivities at the pet-friendly event. There will be a “petstock” event and special treats just for them.

“Residents often ask themselves why they didn’t start this new phase of their lives sooner,” Gray says. “Once you make the switch to the incredible lifestyle that Jubilee has to offer, it’ll be hard to look back.”

Within the community, Jubilee’s 26,000-square-foot club features a professionally staffed fitness center, indoor pool and spa, community lounge, activity center, event center, library, game room, creativity rooms and more.

“If you like golf, it’s here, as well as tennis and pickle-ball courts and an indoor saline swimming pool,” says Donna T., who owns a home at Jubilee with her husband, Gary. “There are also plenty of social events, concerts, dances and many clubs. What’s not to love?”

Fourteen homesites remain for sale along the Golf Club at Hawks Prairie.

The newest neighborhood within Jubilee — Whidbey Passage — is the final opportunity to buy a new home in the community. Jubilee offers 11 single-level floor plans that range in size from 1,507 to 2,462 square feet.

“Living in Jubilee is an active person’s dream community,” Donna says. “Everyone is super friendly — welcoming anyone new to the fitness center classes, encouraging continued participation. And you’re always going to meet new people walking along the trails and neighborhoods.”

Shea Homes has introduced a new approach to home design and homebuilding with its Shea3D plans at Jubilee. It’s an opportunity for homebuyers to design their floor plans to match their lifestyles.

Shea3D allows buyers to choose from one of two main living spaces — entertainment-centric or outdoor-centric. “This flexibility and customization presents an entirely new experience where a buyer’s future home can be tailored to their specific needs,” Gray says.
