Home prices were recently reduced at Fort Lawton. Three of the four remaining historic homes are now priced below $2 million.

The collection of 26 Colonial-revival homes erected by the military on Magnolia Bluff around 1900. They feature classic materials and details such as wrap-around porches, grand entrances, solid-wood doors and moldings, built-in cabinets, old-growth framing and stone foundations.

The homes are located in the middle of Discovery Park. Seattle’s 534-acre crown jewel features meadows, forests, cliffs, streams, trails, beaches, a landmark lighthouse, and sea, island and mountain views.

Over the past three-plus years, each home was thoughtfully renovated, preserving their character while updating them with the latest systems and layouts for contemporary families, including modern kitchens and bathrooms, and finished basements and attics. The result is fully turnkey homes with classic charm.

Fort Lawton homeowners will enjoy freedom from the burdens of ownership, such as yard work, gutter cleaning and painting. Landmark status protects character and views, and a historic-preservation program significantly reduces property taxes for 10 years.
