The best part of my job is seeing a client’s confidence grow as they discover their true style.

What do you do? I’m a stylist and personal shopper, helping clients weed out and maintain their wardrobes. I shop for the key pieces they need for the season and put together a look book of outfit combinations for them to reference.

How did you get started? I owned a boutique in San Francisco and then partnered in a store in Los Angeles, where I started styling. When my husband was transferred to Seattle, I started Tiffany Wendel Personal Styling for clients in Los Angeles, New York and here.

What is a typical day like? Most days I am either doing closet consultations at a client’s home or shopping with them downtown.

Best part of the job? The best part of my job is seeing a client’s confidence grow as they discover their true style. When someone follows the entire process from “closet clean out” to “shop and styling,” it’s a real transformation that’s amazing to be a part of.

What would surprise people about your job? I get just as excited about a $30 pair of shoes as I do about a $300 pair if it’s right for the client.
