Someone finally made an automobile for avid gardeners who want to take it with them.
There are plenty of curiosities and flashes of the future to see at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit, which runs through Sunday. One of the most intriguing is a concept car from Swiss automaker Rinspeed called the Oasis. It is a self-driving, electric vehicle that features a small garden plot in the front and a micro-delivery box in the back that can be heated or cooled. The interior also features armchair-style seats and a large television. Rinspeed officials envision the self-driving Oasis as a vehicle for ride-sharing services and call it a “living room on wheels.”
