RAVE To Sea-Tac Airport for providing free Wi-Fi for travelers. There are too few airports around the world that offer this much-appreciated service, along with plug-in stations in waiting areas to power electronic devices — another nicety for travelers.
RANT AND RAVE Rant to the burglars who broke into our home, ransacked it and took $11 cash, some electronics and jewelry. How sad to be so desperate. We pray that you will get some help and get your lives turned around before someone (especially you) gets hurt. Rave to our neighbors, bankers, colleagues and insurance agents who have been so concerned and helpful. You have turned an unsettling event into an affirmation of how God’s love shines through people.
RAVE To whoever planted those beautiful flower boxes along the waterfront from the aquarium to Ivar’s, making the walk along the waterfront even more pleasant.
RANT To people who dump their “Free Stuff” in front of someone else’s house. If you want to get rid of your “stuff,” leave it in front of your own house!

RAVE To Martin, who carried my 85-pound injured golden retriever down the Poo Poo Point trail. Thank you! He’s had surgery and is expected to fully recover.
RANT AND RAVE Rant to the woman with two small children and a stroller going up the escalator at Nordstrom, who let her little girl, who was about 2 years old, sit on a step; the girl then fell backward. Rave to the young man who bounded up the stairs and rescued the screaming girl, while the mom watched from above. Don’t take a stroller on an escalator and always hold a young child’s hand.
RAVE To the lovely lady who slipped me $10 when I was out having fun with my grandchildren and frantically searching for enough cash to pay the $27 bill when I found out the restaurant didn’t take credit cards. She gave us a big smile and said “Have fun and pay it forward.” My grandchildren are now looking out for ways they can help others.
RANT To the road-rage driver who threw his coffee cup on my car. I’m sorry I didn’t see you speed up behind me as I changed lanes and didn’t leave you as much room as I should have, but what if I had been so startled by your hurled cup that I swerved and we all ended up in an accident? You need a massage and perhaps some medication, my friend.
RAVE To the Crystal Mountain gondola experience, a great activity for out-of-town guests. The staff are friendly and accommodating, the view unbelievable.
