RAVE To the SAIL (Successful Academic Independent Learning) students from Tahoma High School who come and serve senior citizens at the Greater Maple Valley Community Center lunch program. They’re so happy and kind.

RANT It’s that time of year to remind all drivers that you’re nearly invisible on our gray/overcast/rainy days no matter what time of day it is if you’re driving without lights on; dark or monochromatic cars are especially difficult to see in these conditions. You’re asking for an accident if you drive around in bad weather with no lights. It doesn’t have to be pitch dark out before you turn on headlights.
