Here’s a roundup of some of the rescue groups, shelters and other organizations offering calendars featuring pet photos and stories that may make you smile over the next 12 months.
Cowgirl Spirit Rescue Drill Team: $10 desk calendar and $20 wall calendar featuring beautiful rescued horses. The nonprofit organization rescues, rehabilitates and retrains horses in need. In addition to the calendars, Cowgirl Spirit is offering gift sponsorships. For a $40 donation, donors get a horseshoe framed photo of a rescued horse, the horse’s story and a thank-you letter from that horse.
Purrfect Pals: $15 calendar. Purchase online or at the main shelter (230 McRae Road N.E., Arlington). The cat adoption organization and sanctuary also offers greeting cards and a poster.
